Eaton Hearing Solutions was started in 2024 with the focus of providing improved access to hearing healthcare. By offering in-home appointments as well as a local office, we are able to bring better hearing to our community and the entire southwest Ohio region.

Gwendolyn Dawson, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Gwendolyn Dawson brings a unique perspective to working with patients who struggle with communication difficulties as a result of hearing loss and/or tinnitus. As a hearing aid user herself, she understands the importance of optimal hearing daily. Dr.

Dawson received both her undergraduate degree in Audiology and Speech Language Sciences, and Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She completed her clinical training at the Cleveland Clinic. Following graduation, she accepted a clinical research position focusing on tinnitus at the Cleveland Clinic. Since

2015 she has been working with adults and children with hearing loss. Her primary focus has been fitting amplification and providing ongoing auditory rehabilitation. Dr. Dawson is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).

Do you accept insurance?
We work with most insurance companies (United Healthcare, Humana, Anthem), and will always check your plan benefits at the time of your appointment. 


What hearing devices do you offer?
We offer a wide range of hearing devices, manufacturers, and technology to fit within any budget; as well as a wide assortment of hearing aid supplies. Including but not limited to: Phonak, Unitron, Oticon, Signia, Resound and Starkey.

 
If I've obtained my hearing devices from an unrelated provider, may I still establish care?
We welcome new patients that have received hearing devices elsewhere and would like local or home-based care options.


Do you offer in-home appointments?
We offer both in-home and office appointments that work best for our patients!

 
May I bring a support person with me?
We encourage patients to bring a family member or friend to an appointment!

 
What should I expect with my first appointment?
We work with our patients to develop a care plan that works for each individual's needs. We look forward to connecting with you!
